공동체와 장소를 통한 환경적 의도 구축: Prospect Park 사례를 중심으로

도시 공원은 지역 사회에 중요한 환경적, 레크리에이션적, 사회적 이점을 제공합니다. 따라서 주민들이 환경적으로 책임감 있는 행동에 참여하도록 장려하는 요인을 이해하는 것은 지속 가능한 도시 공원 관리에 중요합니다. 본 연구의 목적은 뉴욕 브루클린의 Prospect Park 근처에 거주하는 주민들 사이에서 공동체 애착, 공원에 대한 장소 애착, 그리고 환경적으로 책임감 있는 행동 의도 간의 관계를 조사하는 것이었습니다. 온라인 및 오프라인 설문조사를 통해 220명의 주민으로부터 데이터를 수집하고 신뢰도 분석, 탐색적 요인 분석, 회귀 분석을 사용하여 분석했습니다. 결과는 공동체 애착이 공원에 대한 장소 애착에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주었습니다. 또한, Prospect Park에 대한 장소 애착은 환경적으로 책임감 있는 행동 의도를 증가시켰습니다. 이러한 결과는 공동체에 대한 소속감을 강하게 느끼는 주민들이 지역 공원과 정서적 유대감을 형성할 가능성이 더 높으며, 이는 환경적으로 책임감 있는 행동 의도를 장려한다는 것을 시사합니다. 본 연구는 도시 공원 환경에서 환경 지속 가능성을 증진하기 위해 공동체 연결과 공원 관련 경험을 모두 강화하는 것의 중요성을 강조합니다.
