Submission Regulations
Article 1 (Purpose)
This regulation is established in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Sports Convergence Research Center and aims to define matters related to the submission of manuscripts to “International Journal of Convergence Science for Youth” (hereinafter referred to as “the Journal”).
Article 2 (Eligibility of Contributors)
- The first author shall, in principle, be a high school student enrolled in an accredited institution.
- Student authors may submit manuscripts under the supervision of a teacher or academic advisor.
- The first author should, in principle, be a regular member of the Association.
Article 3 (Types of Articles)
- The Journal publishes research related to all kinds of convergence science.
- The types of articles include research articles, brief reports & research projects, review & perspective.
Article 4 (Exclusion of Duplicate Submissions)
In principle, papers submitted to this journal must not have been published in other academic journals.
Article 5 (Language)
The manuscript shall be written in English only.
Article 6 (Manuscript Preparation)
- The submitted manuscript shall be prepared using the official MS Word template provided by the journal.
- Authors must download the MS Word (DOCX) file formatted according to the IJCSY Manuscript Template and prepare their manuscripts accordingly.
- The total manuscript length should not exceed 3,300 words.
- The title must consist of 10–15 words, and the abstract should be limited to 200 words.
- Manuscripts should follow the standard academic structure, including Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, and Appendix.
- The main text must be written in Times New Roman, 10-point font size.
- For tables and figures, authors should follow the formatting guidelines provided in the journal’s template.
- References are recommended to follow the APA citation style.
Article 7 (Submission Procedure)
Manuscripts shall be submitted through the journal’s online submission system by following the prescribed procedures.
Article 8 (Submission and Publication Requirements)
- Authors are required to pay a review fee of USD 55 per manuscript upon submission.
- A submission form indicating the review area must be submitted along with the manuscript.
- Authors whose papers are accepted for publication shall pay a basic publication fee of USD 250 (within 3,300 words), and manuscripts exceeding 3,300 words shall pay an additional fee of USD 300.
Article 9 (References and Citations)
- References and citations should conform to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition, released in October 2019).

Article 10 (Manuscript Submission and Deadline)
- Manuscripts shall be submitted through the IJCSY website, and the date of submission shall be based on the date the manuscript is uploaded to the journal’s online system.
- The submission deadlines shall be the last day of May (5) and November (11) each year.
Article 11 (Other Regulations)
The following detailed guidelines shall apply:
- Each author may submit up to two manuscripts per issue (first authored and co-authored paper).
- The Journal shall be published twice a year, at the end of August (8) and February (2), each year.
- If the Editorial Board determines that a manuscript does not comply with the submission guidelines, it may reject the submission or determine it as unsuitable for publication.
- Manuscripts deemed unsuitable for publication may be resubmitted after revision and supplementation of the title and content. However, the Editorial Board shall decide whether to proceed with the review after preliminary examination.
- Authors shall transfer the copyright of the published articles to the Association.
- Articles published in this Journal may not be reproduced without the prior approval of the Association.
- For manuscripts accepted for publication following peer review and the decision of the Editorial Board, the author is responsible for verifying the final PDF for publication, and the corresponding author bears full responsibility for the final version.
Article 12 (Matters Not Covered by the Regulations)
Matters not specified in these regulations shall be determined by the Editorial Board.
Supplementary Provisions
Amendments to these regulations shall take effect from the date on which they are approved by the Executive Board following deliberation by the Editorial Board.
